Federated Commodities PLC has awarded scholarship to eight (8) students to pursue tertiary education at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
The students were mainly children of cocoa farmers and from cocoa growing communities who, would normally not be able to afford to study at GIMPA.
The scholarship scheme would see FEDCO contribute with partners to sponsor the students till they are done with their degrees.
IN a release, the Managing Director of FEDCO Hajia Maria Adamu-Zibo, noted that the Company has as of January 2025, spent GHS460,000 on the students to cater for their fees accommodation and monthly stipend.
She added that FEDCO would continue to work with other partners to ensure that the beneficiaries graduate come the 2026/27 Academic year.
